Unfortunately, this event was not so great. Parking was a breeze, but it was pretty dang busy during Artprize in the heart of Grand Rapids. Doors were at 7pm, and the venue is mainfloor standing room only with balcony seating available for extra dough. The opener, Mass Gothic, took the stage at 7:45 and played until 8:25. Matteo Lane, whom I love, took until 9:20, nearly an entire hour to get out on stage. Doors didn't actually open until 7:20, and the show was sold out. I've never been to a concert where the main act took an additional hour after their opener left. They did a second encore but took their sweet time before coming back on stage; about 10 minutes. My beef starts here.
